Although my maternal grandfather was born in London, his parents were born in Poland. (On the 'boring small world' theme, he happened to spend a couple of years in Reading jail as a concientious objector during the first World War. It is coincidence that I live in Reading!) Below I include a Tiny Tafel of this family. They came from what is now the South East corner of Poland - near a village called Dukla which is near the Dukla Pass across the Tatra Mountains to the Slovak Republic.
